Ze-Watt bets on a connected charging cable made in France
Ze-Watt is launching a fully French-made connected cable for home charging. Compatible with any household outlet, it enables centralized management and automated reimbursement of charging costs.
France's leading independent operator of electric mobility for businesses, Ze-Watt operates, supervises and maintains no fewer than 18,000 charging points. This includes access to more than 200,000 charging stations via its roaming card. The manufacturer continues to develop solutions tailored to the new usage patterns of professional fleets. In 2025, the company generated revenue of €22 million, up 25% compared to 2024, and now has 70,000 users who recharge every day using its card.
Home charging, the new challenge of electric mobility
Today, nearly 80% of charging takes place at employees' homes or workplaces, making home charging a strategic issue for businesses. To address this, Ze-Watt has developed a new-generation connected cable, entirely made in France, compatible with a standard or reinforced household outlet and enabling charging of up to 3.7 kW. With its portable design, 5-meter length and carrying bag, the cable was designed to simplify users' everyday lives: business travel, house moves, vehicle returns or the absence of dedicated installation. A simple, flexible solution requiring no construction work.
A cable that intelligently schedules charging during off-peak hours
The Ze-Watt connected cable includes an MID meter enabling precise measurement of electricity consumption and its reimbursement. Data is automatically transmitted to the supervision software developed by Ze-Watt, allowing businesses to centralize and manage all usage. The cable also allows charging to be intelligently scheduled during off-peak hours, in order to optimize energy costs. Businesses can thus automate the reimbursement of their employees' charging costs, benefit from precise energy tracking, and ensure centralized, compliant management of usage.
A modular home offering, between fixed charging station and mobile cable
This solution complements the Ze-Box Home, Ze-Watt's residential charging station capable of delivering up to 11 kW. With a fixed charging station and a mobile connected cable, Ze-Watt now offers a modular home solution, adapted to different driver profiles and the constraints of each home. Ze-Watt also designs its own AC OCPP charging stations of up to 22 kW and develops its supervision software in-house, for a turnkey offering covering audits, installation, maintenance and usage tracking, with a single point of contact for businesses.
