MCA Launches Its “Annual Safety & Mobility Meeting”

Through this annual strategic planning meeting, Mobilité Club Académie helps companies assess their risks, identify their costs, and prioritize their mobility initiatives.
Since 1975, Mobilité Club Académie has been supporting companies in addressing their road safety and mobility challenges. Today, the organization is opening a new chapter in its history by evolving its positioning to become a strategic partner in managing risks and optimizing mobility-related costs. Against a backdrop of rising costs, evolving fleets and usage patterns, and new environmental requirements, accident rates, claims, fuel consumption, maintenance, tires, vehicle damage, and vehicle returns can have a direct impact on operating costs. “Our ambition is to transform the nature of our relationship with our clients. We want to get involved earlier in the process, work with them to identify their risks, costs, and performance drivers, and then support them over the long term,” says Cédric Michel, CEO of Mobilité Club Académie.
From Prevention to Measurable Performance
MCA now offers a comprehensive approach that enables companies to measure their risks, identify their costs, prioritize their actions, and track their results. This approach is based on the analysis of accident statistics and driver behavior, eco-driving, audits and assessments, fleet and engine technology trends, new mobility solutions, digital tools, and the implementation of action plans. The goal is clear: to shift from a prevention-focused approach to one centered on measurable performance by bringing together the various relevant company departments: Executive Management, Procurement, Finance, HR, Fleet Management, Prevention, QHSE, and CSR.
A New Era of Management
To bring this new ambition to life, MCA is launching the “Annual Safety & Mobility Meeting.” Offered annually to its clients, this approximately 30-minute session provides an opportunity to take stock of the company’s key challenges: fleet, accident trends, claims rates, costs, driver behavior, new powertrains, actions taken, regulations, and future priorities. With this new meeting, MCA aims to shift from reacting to anticipating, from observation to action, and from one-off interventions to long-term support.
Preventing Risks and Managing Costs
Today, an effective mobility policy must address two key challenges: protecting employees and controlling expenses. Reducing accidents and claims, limiting fuel consumption, better managing damage and maintenance costs, and optimizing usage are all strategies that can improve the overall cost of mobility. A subsidiary of Mobilité Club France, a member of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and actively involved in several networks dedicated to road safety, MCA supports hundreds of companies, government ministries, and local authorities each year and trains more than 27,000 people, totaling 141,000 hours of training.
