aimoove opens up its predictive reliability score to fleets

Lyon-based startup aimoove is offering fleet managers its predictive tool. On the menu: a reliability index, projected likely breakdowns over 24 months and an estimated resale price.
Founded in April 2025 in Lyon, aimoove produces a predictive automotive reliability score. Previously reserved for private individuals, automotive professionals and insurers, the service is now available to corporate fleet managers. The startup, a Novacité award winner and member of French Tech Saint-Étienne Lyon Grand Paris, can apply its score across an entire fleet, vehicle by vehicle. A demonstration will be given at the Rencontres Flotauto in Lyon at aimoove's stand.
87 analysis criteria
Starting from a vehicle's identification, the platform analyzes 87 criteria and produces three outputs: a reliability index, a list of likely breakdowns over the next 24 months, and an estimated resale price with its confidence interval. Where a conventional vehicle history tells the story of a vehicle's past, aimoove speaks to its future. Applied across a fleet, this changes three everyday decisions for managers: holding costs stop being recorded after the fact and become anticipated instead, the choice of which vehicles to retire or keep longer becomes documented rather than justified after the fact, and resale value is argued with figures in hand rather than taken on the buyer's word.
The blind spot of electric vehicles at end of contract
The launch comes as the first generations of fleet electric vehicles reach the end of their contracts, without the used-vehicle market really knowing how to price them. Battery health, which largely determines residual value, remains invisible at the time of resale: managers currently base decisions on mileage and age for lack of any other indicator. "Today, nobody knows how to price a four-year-old electric vehicle. You look at the mileage, you look at the age, and you cross your fingers. Our job is to replace that guesswork with a number, backed by a confidence interval," sums up Damien Longefay, Sales Manager at aimoove.
