GO Focus Plus: preventing risky behavior in real time
Among the solutions developed by Geotab, the AI-powered, dual-lens GO Focus Plus onboard camera analyzes the road and the cabin in real time. It can detect risky behaviors such as phone use while driving, distraction, fatigue or failure to maintain safe following distances. Thanks to instant voice alerts, drivers can correct their behavior before an incident occurs. During a pilot phase, this voice-coaching feature reduced instances of unsafe following distances by 90% and phone use while driving by 95%. For fleet managers, each alert can be linked to a video clip and contextual data, enabling more targeted, more objective coaching that drivers more readily accept.
Geotab Vitality: a 55% reduction in claims
Born from the collaboration between Geotab and Vitality, the Geotab Vitality solution combines telematics data, AI-based predictive collision-risk analysis and behavioral science expertise. The offering aims to encourage good driving practices through personalized goals and a rewards system. The Vitality Drive program has already helped its members reduce the number of claims by 55% compared to national averages.
